Acceptance
By using the Cyber Odyssey USA website, mobile app, Event Access Applications, Member Chat, organizer tools, store links, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Cyber Odyssey USA Code of Conduct.
Website and app use
You agree to use Cyber Odyssey USA services responsibly and not interfere with their operation, security, access controls, authentication, private event communications, or organizer tools. You may not attempt to access event chats, participant information, admin tools, files, or backend systems without authorization.
Event participation
Participation in any event may require application review, approval, registration, vehicle readiness, safe driving behavior, respect for land-use rules, and compliance with organizer instructions. Approval for one event does not guarantee approval for another event.
Event Access Applications
Submitting an Event Access Application does not guarantee a spot. Events may have limited capacity, route requirements, vehicle requirements, safety expectations, eligibility criteria, and organizer discretion. Information submitted through applications must be accurate and may be used to evaluate safety, readiness, and fit for an event.
Member Chat
Member Chat is a private event communication tool for approved and registered participants only. It is not a public chat room, public social network, attendee directory, or direct messaging service. Access is event-specific and may expire, become read-only, or be archived after an event ends.
Cyber Odyssey USA may remove participants, delete inappropriate messages, lock chats, archive chats, pin announcements, and restrict access when needed for event operations, safety, privacy, security, or community standards. Participants removed from an event may immediately lose Member Chat access.
Community standards
Event communications must stay focused on event coordination, safety, logistics, and respectful participant support. Do not advertise, solicit, recruit for other events or organizations, harass participants, share private participant information, post unsafe instructions, or use Member Chat for unsolicited direct contact outside the platform.
Participant content and uploads
You are responsible for messages, photos, files, GPX routes, maps, documents, and other content you submit. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, malicious, misleading, private, or infringing content. Cyber Odyssey USA may remove content that violates these terms, the Code of Conduct, event rules, or organizer instructions.
Purchases and third-party services
Product details, pricing, availability, shipping, returns, and payment processing may be handled through third-party store or checkout providers. Third-party links, maps, weather services, social platforms, and app store services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Safety and assumption of risk
Outdoor, off-road, overland, convoy, charging, recovery, camping, and vehicle-based activities carry inherent risk. Participants are responsible for their vehicle, equipment, passengers, driving decisions, preparation, conduct, and compliance with applicable laws, land-use requirements, and organizer instructions.
No emergency service substitute
Cyber Odyssey USA communications, including Member Chat, are not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first when available and follow organizer instructions.
Privacy
Use of Cyber Odyssey USA services is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Participant information and private event communications must be treated with care and may not be copied, published, sold, or distributed without authorization.
Limitation
Cyber Odyssey USA services are provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyber Odyssey USA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, app, events, Member Chat, third-party services, or event participation.
Changes and contact
Cyber Odyssey USA may update these terms as services, events, and app features evolve. For support, questions, privacy requests, or Member Chat concerns, use the contact page.
Mobile app safety terms effective August 19, 2026
Odyssey Radio and distracted driving
Odyssey Radio and Member Chat are not emergency services and are not guaranteed to be continuously available. Communications require usable cellular or Wi-Fi service. Do not hold, read, type, replay, or otherwise operate the app while driving. Stop in a safe and lawful location before interacting with the app, retain the organizer's no-service communication plan, and contact local emergency services first when available.
Radio recording notice
By intentionally pressing and releasing the Odyssey Radio control, a participant directs Cyber Odyssey USA to transmit that communication to the approved event room and store it privately in Radio History for up to 30 days. Participants must not record or transmit unlawful, threatening, harassing, exploitative, private, or infringing material.
Routes, conditions, and third-party information
Routes, maps, GPX files, weather, charging information, meeting details, and organizer communications are provided for event coordination and may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by changing conditions. They are not navigation, rescue, road-safety, vehicle-control, or emergency-service guarantees. Participants remain responsible for current signs, closures, laws, land-use rules, vehicle limits, conditions, and safe driving decisions.
Member Chat safety controls
Participant content may be filtered, reported, blocked, removed, preserved for investigation, or disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement. A participant may block another participant's content, but organizer safety announcements remain visible. Cyber Odyssey USA may suspend or remove accounts or event access that violate these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
Event waiver remains separate
Use of the app does not replace any event-specific waiver, registration requirement, safety briefing, vehicle requirement, or organizer instruction. Participation may require separate acceptance of those materials.
